We have invested greatly in plastic injection mold making technologies that support tight tolerance manufacturing and ignored production. Mould machining technologies include Wire EDM machining centers; EDM machining centers; CNC Milling Machining Centers, including high speed graphite andelectrode machinery; and high-end CAD software to support efficient plastic molding and mold design and unification with our CNC tooling technology.
In addition, WLR's Plastic Injection Molding division has been equipped with state of the art plastic injection molding machines to guarantee process efficiency and repeatability. Each injection machine cell is complimented with the necessary support equipment to ensure an efficient injection molding operation that produces quality moulding components that meet customer requirements. Support facilities include material driers, granulators, water temperature controllers, oil temperature controllers, robot sprue pickers and servo robots. All plastic injection machines are outfitted with sight glass vacuum loaders, portable drying systems and separate vacuum loaders which are tied into a solid state controlled system. WLR-Mould Limited also uses a 7.5 ton overhead crane and a closed-loop central cooling tower system. We maintain a controlled injection molding environment and co-ordinate all material handling, drying and process support activities in confined areas separated from the production area. Our facility is air-conditioned and includes a fire-control sprinkler system.
